Art News

Hello!

What a hectic year this is ALREADY turning out to be! Thankfully I have a week at the end of May next week to switch off so I am very looking forward to that…

How are you all? How has your Spring been? The May Blossom is extraordinarily beautiful at the moment and just. Smells. Divine.

As some of you may know, I moved house in October 2025. The house needs work, so we were lucky enough to get the builders to start in January. 6-8 weeks later they are STILL HERE and while the end is genuinely in sight, I feel my fuse has been reduced to nothing and I have fizzed myself into a deep pit as I make my artwork in a tiny corner of the living room.

However the main thing is the house will be great and my happiness and peace will be restored instantly… before we rip up the ground floor for phase 2!! WOO!

Studio Updates

I traded at Saltaire Inspired Art Market at the beginning of May so I spent April very busily preparing for that… I was so busy in fact, that I forgot to send you a newsletter about it. Apologies. I am genuinely so distracted at the moment it is a problem.

I have been creating more landscapes lately, which I have LOVED. It’s felt good to exercise that muscle again, after spending a lot of time creating Wearable Art pieces.

The website store is looking lovely at the moment so head over to see what goodies I have added. The Mini Ceramic collection, I simply adore and obviously my love of Tansy Beetles really shines through…

You can also book onto a workshop at Bempton Cliffs. Think ‘crafting in the morning, lunch, bird watching in the afternoon’. WHAT A PERFECT DAY.
