Workshops
The ins and outs
Running my own workshops has been a new venture in 2024 and in 2025 I aim to really push it further…
I already work with a lovely theatre company in York which delivers craft workshops to youth theatre groups as well as adults. I also work with Yarm School’s Outreach Programme where we are currently working on a very exciting project with primary schools in the North East. There is a new, riverfront park being built in Stockton, and during its opening ceremony in 2026, 1000 children will have made a clay sculpture of themselves which will be placed on the steps of the park as part of an installation art piece. It is going to look incredible!
I love, love, LOVE working with people in this way. I find it inspiring and challenging and watching everybody’s confidence grow and creativity blossom is unbelievably rewarding.

As I have access to a kiln, I currently offer hand-building workshops where you can learn how to make coil pot vessels and slab built vessels: with these 2 techniques, the possibilities for what you can make are endless. Vases, mugs, tealight holders etc.
If you then wanted to glaze your pots in a separate session, I offer that too! And in a similar vein, if you just wanted to glaze a readymade item, this option is open to you.

I also run Needle-Felting workshops. Sign up to my newsletter to stay in the know about new dates, however if you wanted something more specific and tailored to you and a group of pals we can organise that as well. Just drop me a line for more information: [email protected]
New for 2025 will be Eco Wearable Art Workshops. Similarly to the felt ones, materials and equipment are provided HOWEVER you will need to bring with you a jumper. whether you own it already, have one that needs fixing or buy one secondhand, the point of this workshop is to upcycle a pre-loved item so you can re-love it again. I am so passionate about the environment and so using already-owned or secondhand garments has always been the most important aspect. Sign up to my newsletter to find out when these will be running, or drop me an email if you want to organise one.

If you are a school, charity or business and would like to work with me, that is amazing! Please send me an email so we can have a proper chat: [email protected]
Thank you for reading my lovely darlings!
